Our farmers market program provide access to locally grown products and create market opportunities for area farmers and producers
Our market is mostly producer-only, meaning that at least 75% of our vendors are farmers and producers that only sell what they raise on their farms or make from scratch. We encourage our vendors to use local ingredients in the creation of their products as much as possible. Our farmers and producers all come from the DMV area.

A place to build relationships and a healthy community. The market will bring many benefits to Farmers that will sell directly to our consumers, allowing them to earn a larger share of price rather than using wholesalers. The market provides us as consumers with more high quality locally grown produce and other products. Located in the John Robinson Jr, Town Square, already a popular gathering space. The Green Valley Farmers Market will provide social and economic benefits, strengthening a sense of community. We envision this as a more enjoyable space with family entertainment, fun for the kids and ways to eat healthy. Buy fresh fruits and vegetables to take home, or have dinner with us on-site. There will be cooking demonstrations, food sampling, staged events and featured will be our Fish Fry and Dinner Chats. An opportunity to get to know our community and its rich history.
